Welcome Baby Anastasia!

A Big congratulations goes out to one of our Dearest Cuckoos Trick Family’s, (Yvonne, Nicholas and big sister Yana) for the safe arrival of there baby girl Anastasia…

I was so excited to put together one of our Lux Baby Packs, and see first hand the smile on mums face…Welcome baby girl xxoo!!!

To add to my excitement walking into the hospital to see our friends, being approached by a total stranger, walking out of the gift shop to say “WOW did you make that” and I said “YES, this is Cuckoos Trick!!!!

Treasured Moments

It was finally here Alexia’s due date 3rd of January made it 40 weeks.

It was a Saturday, so we thought lets walk her out!

No such luck!! It was now Monday morning and my appointment with the midwife care was at 10am.

My appointment confirmed that she wasn’t coming today and they booked me in for an induction in 7 days (if we hadn’t gone into labour before that.)

After a great lunch and a nap I guess she decided it was time!

Why Cuckoos Trick

Hi all thought I’d give you a little insight on how we came up with the name for our website.
When our little girl was born she was showered with many gift and amongst them was a beautiful Greek mythology story book!
Amongst the many kids stories was the story of the Cuckoos Trick a love story!
So they say…..!
Zeus turned himself into a cuckoo bird that appeared to be frozen in the cold to trick the goddess Hera, for her affection, as the story is told, she turned to her motherly instincts held the bird tightly to her breast to warm it from the cold!
And so on…….stories aside I just loved when I turned the page and read The Cuckoos Trick! So the name was placed on a short list and the rest is history.
